Rainer's first hail storm of the season. Notice the rooster in the background? Oh, that's because his owners TAKE HIM INSIDE when it's raining or too cold. My question is: How Cold Must Too Cold For A Rooster Be? Rainer will see many of these storms, considering there were at least five of them last summer, and it hardly rained. Plainfield apparently attracts hail, because I can count how many other times I have seen such storms having grown up 10 miles down the road in Naperthrill.

NON-RAINER RELATED RANT: (this writing is the expressed view of Rainer's father and has nothing to do with said sweet little boy. It is purely for venting purposes and should not be read as an assault on the quality of 24/25 of the current White Sox club (though their manager is mostly to blame for my disdain for said team and so is included somewhat in this rant.)


George says, this is how much I care about AJ. And dear Hawk Harrleson (sic?), I mean, Ken (what kind of grown man goes by HAWK?!): Yes it's true that when Barrett punched your boy AJ he didn't knock AJ down, while AJ did knock Barrett down. Unfortunately, Mike did not get a 90 FOOT RUNNING START. Defending a jerkwad like this guy is like defending Ron Artest because someone threw at him first on THAT DAY. AJ deserves more than just a smack in the jaw, and for more than just this one incident. Barrett deserves a 10-day suspension and should be embarassed for losing control of his emotions, but AJ defenders should remember what it's like to have a playground bully constantly instigating and then pretending he's a saint when the teacher comes by.
